Elite Video Introduces the most Affordable,
High-performance LCD Projector in its Class -
The EliteVision 100
The Elitevision 100 is the First LCD Projector to Offer True 720p
Widescreen Images and the Faroudja DCDi Imaging Chip
Elite Video, a
provider of projection solutions for home theater, is upping the ante for home
theater buffs with the introduction of its Elitevision 100 LCD projector -
the first to offer true 720P widescreen HDTV imagery and advanced Faroudja
image processing.
Extraordinary
Performance, Value and Features
Elite Video's Elitevision 100 brings a new level of performance to
affordable home theater rivaling that of many competitive projectors
costing thousands more. With a greater than 600:1 contrast ratio and 1280 x
720 native resolution, the Model 100 is able to provide crystal clear, true
720P HDTV resolution with natural-looking fleshtones. Performance is
further enhanced with digital keystone correction, standard inputs for
power, video (including DVI) and computer output for worldwide use. A 3000
hour lamp that lasts 50% longer than competitive models makes the LCD 100
extremely cost-effective. And, to ensure that unnecessary noise doesn't
interfere with a good movie, the unit has an extra-quiet fan that operates
at less than 30db.
Faroudja
DCDi Imaging - For Superior Scaling
The LCD 100 includes internal scaling for both video and computer
applications with Faroudja's DCDi Advanced Image Processing chip. The
patented Directional Correlational Deinterlacing (DCDi) processor applies
new motion adaptive deinterlacing that prevents the introduction of motion
artifacts and jagged edges from video signals, ensuring a smooth, crystal
clear image no matter what the source material or format. "LCD
technology has progressed so quickly over the past few years that it has
become a solution for even higher-end home theater systems," noted
Eric Geller, President of Elite Video. "The Model 100 is a culmination
of the years of development with a high contrast image, Faroudja image
processing and low cost, making this unit the perfect solution for the
person looking to take the jump to true large screen projection."
The 9.3lb Model 100
was designed to be used in any configuration, including mounting options
for front or rear projection, on the ceiling or the floor, and is currently
available at a suggested retail price of $5,995.
