Elite Video, a provider of projection solutions for the home theater, recently announced its line of Digital Image Light Amplification (D-ILA) projectors for the home. The
DLA-G20 and the DLA-G15 offer users exceptional brightness and resolution in a compact package. The
D-ILA projectors are being demonstrated in Booth # 526 at CEDIA Expo 2001.
DLA-G20 and DLA-G15 Projectors - Home Theater for Anywhere
Elite Video's DLA-G20 and DLA-G15 projectors offer the performance craved by enthusiasts with dedicated screening rooms, while the compact size of the units (13.35"L x 16.73"WW x 9.68" H and 32.5lbs) makes placement or mounting easy - even in tight spaces.
Both the DLA-G20 and DLA-G15 are powerhouses when it comes to brightness. With more than 2000 ANSI lumens brightness on the DLA-G20 and 1500 ANSI Lumens on the DLA-G15, both models have the ability to fill virtually any size screen or wall (up to an amazing 500-inches) with a crystal clear image -- even in a room with ambient light.
Both of Elite's D-ILA projectors feature second-generation Direct-drive Image Light Amplification (D-ILA) technology developed by Hughes/JVC for industrial use and include a three panel (0.9-inch diagonal) lens system. Elite's D-ILA projectors are capable of a native resolution of 1365 x 1024 pixels for compatibility with HDTV broadcasts and progressive scan DVD, and include a complete array of inputs including composite, S-Video, Component and progressive HDTV.
"D-ILA is one of the few video technologies able to overcome the limitations of ambient light and limited mounting space," noted Eric Geller, President of Elite Video. "With the compact size and high brightness of
Elite's D-ILA projectors, they are the perfect choice for the user looking for a high-resolution, large-screen image in a family room or other multi-purpose room."
