Elite Video helps senior citizens
see Red (Sox, that is!)

A Red Sox
Opening Day Telecast Event for nearly 200 senior citizens, the Elder
Statesmen of Red Sox Nation, was held at the Torigian Community Life Center
in Peabody on April 11. The Red Sox Opening Game Day at Fenway Park and
World Series Ring Ceremony was telecast on two jumbo screens in
high-definition HDTV provided by Elite Video of Woburn.
Eric Geller,
President of Elite Video, was pleased to provide the projection systems and
equipment for the Opening Day Telecast Event. “ I am delighted to work with
North Shore Elder Services to provide the technology so that the most loyal
and enduring fans in Red Sox Nation could enjoy the Red Sox Game on large
screens and in high-definition television (HDTV).”
The Torigian
Community Life Center was transformed into a Fenway Park atmosphere with
ballpark fare and concessions. Many of the folks who attended the event
have been followers of the Red Sox for decades. Several Seniors brought
their grandchildren along to share in the celebration. Those 11 Seniors who
were born in 1918 or earlier, were admitted free.
