Elite Video Makes True Large Screen HDTV Performance Affordable With It's
New Line of Widescreen LCD Projectors
Starting At
Only $2,495, The New Elitevision™ Models Pack A Performance Punch Without
Breaking The Bank
Woburn, MA,
February 27, 2005
Elite Video, a provider of projection solutions for home theater, has
introduced three new LCD widescreen HDTV models in its Elitevision™ line of
home theater projectors. The Models EV-100, PLV-Z3 and PLV-70 join Elite
Video's full line of LCD, DLP, D-ILA and CRT-based projectors - one of the
most diverse offerings in the industry!
PLV-70 -
Incredible Resolution, Incredible Experience
The new Elitevision PLV-70 includes 1.21? TFT active matrix panels and
boasts an incredible 2200 ANSI Lumens - perfect for those who want
extra-large images in rooms with ambient light issues. The unit's 1366 x
768 native resolution makes HDTV broadcasts look brilliant, while the
greater than 900:1 contrast ratio ensures that those images look great no
matter whether the projected image is 40-inches or 400-inches.
The PLV-70 also
includes performance-enhancing features such as a built-in video scaler, a
2000 hour lamp, vertical lens shift capability, built-in stereo speakers
and a backlit wireless remote. Optional lenses are also available for
custom applications.
Elitevision
EV-100 - Low Cost, High Excitement
Elite Video's Elitevision EV-100 brings a new level of performance to
affordable home theater rivaling that of many competitive projectors
costing thousands more. With a contrast ratio greater than 800:1, 700+ ANSI
lumens brightness and 1280 x 720 native resolution, the Model EV-100 is
able to provide crystal-clear, true 720P HDTV resolution with
natural-looking flesh tones. Performance is further enhanced with
Faroudja's DCDi Advanced Image Processing chip, digital keystone
correction, and standard inputs for video (including DVI) and computers.
A 3000 hour lamp
that lasts 50% longer than competitive models makes the LCD 100 extremely
cost-effective to operate. And, to ensure that unnecessary noise doesn't
interfere with a good movie, the unit has an extra-quiet fan that operates
at less than 30db.
PLV-Z3 -
Value-Packed, Feature Rich
For those looking for a value-oriented projector which will still bring
big-screen excitement to any living room, the Elitevision PLV-Z3 is the
perfect choice. The PLV-Z3 has a native resolution of 1280 x 720, 800 ANSI
Lumens brightness and a greater than 2000:1 contrast ratio for rich,
striking images up to 300-inches diagonally.
While the PLV-Z3 is
an amazing value at under $2,500, such features as a selectable color
temperature control, vertical and horizontal lens shift capability, backlit
wireless remote and selectable 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios, make it
comparable to more expensive models.
"The
introduction of the Elitevision widescreen LCD series truly demonstrates
how far LCD technology has come," noted Eric Geller, President of
Elite Video. "Starting at only $2,495, these new widescreen, HDTV
capable models use the latest in LCD technology which has vastly improved
performance and driven down manufacturing costs - both of which benefit the
consumer and manufacturer alike."
The 9.3lb EV-100 is
currently available at a suggested retail price of $5,995. The PLV-Z3
(7.5lbs) and PLV-70 (17.4 lbs) are currently available at suggested retail
prices of $2,495 and $7,995, respectively.
All Elitevision
projectors come complete with EliteCare™ Warranty Service, and unlike many
